Dan D’Orazio Promoted to President of Sage Growth Partners
D’Orazio will drive company operations, strategy, and growth
Baltimore, MD – March 8, 2016 – Sage Growth Partners (SGP), a Baltimore-based healthcare consulting, technology and marketing firm today announced that Dan D’Orazio has been promoted to the role of company President. In this new role, D’Orazio will help shape and lead the vision for a quickly growing organization. D’Orazio has been with SGP for almost 10 years, using his extensive experience in management, organizational development, marketing and project formation to help the company scale.
In his previous role as SGP’s COO, Dan led organizational development, including researching and identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, conducting market and competitive analysis, and writing business plans and grants. D’Orazio was SGP’s first full-time hire when he joined CEO Don McDaniel in 2006 as Director of Corporate Development.
Prior to SGP, D’Orazio spent eight years with the University of Maryland, Baltimore County’s Shriver Center Choice Program, Maryland’s largest community-based case management program. He advanced quickly in the organization, holding four positions during his tenure, most recently as Deputy Director. In this role, he was responsible for the operations of eleven Maryland offices comprised of 75 employees
D’Orazio is an active community member having served on the boards of the Franciscan Center and Mentoring Male Teens in the Hood, and his parish council. He received a Bachelor of Science, Foreign Service from Georgetown University and a Master of Business Administration from The Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School, where he has taught corporate strategy as an adjunct faculty member since 2010.
