15th Annual Population Health Colloquium Sets Stage for More Collaborative Work

Baltimore, MD – April 14, 2015 · Sage Growth Partners (SGP), a Baltimore-based healthcare consulting, technology, and marketing firm, today announced it has entered into an innovation partnership with Thomas Jefferson University’s Jefferson School of Population Health (JSPH).

The partnership between SGP and JSPH formalizes a relationship developed over the last several years with the common goal of promoting a deeper understanding of population health and accelerating the adoption of this concept within the healthcare industry. Together, the partners will develop an innovation agenda and create a co-branded executive continuing education program.

The leadership of both organizations is enthusiastic about their combined ability to assist in accelerating meaningful transformation of healthcare delivery at the population level. Don McDaniel, President and CEO of Sage Growth Partners says, “We are excited to formalize our partnership with the Jefferson School of Population Health and look forward to our collaborative work to advance the population health / value-based care discussion.”

David Nash, MD, MBA, Dean of the Jefferson School of Population Health remarked, “Healthcare leaders need to have a good grasp of the complex issues in play before they can make the type of changes that will advance their organizations to the next level. We couldn’t find a better partner than Don and his team at Sage Growth Partners to help advance the innovation agenda.”

Sponsor, Speaker and Audience Packed Panel Discussion

Thomas Jefferson University’s 15th Annual Population Health Colloquium took place March 23-25, 2015 in Philadelphia. Post-Population Health Colloquium – Replacing Conventional Healthcare with Population Healthcare

As population health, also termed “value-based care,” is coming of age during this industrializing stage of healthcare delivery, Sage Growth Partners and the Jefferson School of Population Health will work together to help healthcare organizations better understand and implement value-based healthcare initiatives through innovative, educational programs.

Don McDaniel explains, “Our firm has a huge opportunity to help effect the transformation needed. If value-based care is the new normal, health care organizations of all shapes and sizes need to change their business model to ensure long-term viability.” Mr. McDaniel goes on to say, “As mastery of value-based care becomes a market imperative, SGP is well suited to help them change, re-tool, and add talent to enable success.”
