Thomas Wisniewski is in his second year of the Global MBA program at Johns Hopkins Carey. He attended the University of Colorado at Boulder, majoring in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology, where he conducted longevity and aging research for the Institute for Behavioral Genetics. Following graduation, Tom worked with the provider, payer, and dispensary clients of Fenton Nelson to resolve various compliance issues. At Thomson Reuters, he held several positions including project manager and consultant. As a project manager, Tom led the product releases for two major offerings, crafted related go-to-market strategies, and guided business case development. In the consulting role, he managed strategic, corporate intellectual properties projects and analysis, securing $1.1M in new business. Most recently, Tom participated in the management rotation program at athenahealth, where his project focused on business development. Specifically, Tom analyzed self-service processes, researching market trends, conducting customer-sizing, and measuring the potential impacts to athena with the purpose of transitioning internal business segments to such a model.
In his free time, Tom is an avid college football fan. He also enjoys playing squash and traveling the U.S. – sometimes the world.
