Sage Growth Partners survey of 100 health system and hospital executives reveals that cloud faxing technologies are becoming more critical to broader interoperability, workflow modernization, and infrastructure rationalization strategies.
The top reasons for implementing cloud faxing solutions are EMR integration (74%) and cost savings (72%), but EMR integration and migration costs are also among the top concerns associated with cloud fax tools. Adding to the complexity, more than half of survey participants currently use multiple cloud fax solutions.
At the same time, the cloud fax market is crowded and competitive—meaning leaders have multiple vendors to evaluate when making purchasing decisions. With half of leaders saying their organization is already evaluating new cloud-based faxing tools or planning to do so in the near-term, this market is ripe for standardization, consolidation, and cost reduction.
