Kovalick Will Lead and Drive Growth in the Firm’s Value-Based Healthcare Practice.
Baltimore, MD – January 19, 2015 • Sage Growth Partners (SGP), a Baltimore-based healthcare consulting, technology, and marketing firm today announced the appointment of Stephanie Kovalick as Senior Vice President and Practice Leader, Value-Based Care.
In her role, Ms. Kovalick will be responsible for building the Value-Based Care Practice for SGP. By strengthening competencies and driving growth, Ms. Kovalick and her team will help healthcare providers, payers, and vendors navigate the waters of value-based care, including population health management.
Ms. Kovalick is a leading healthcare authority with extensive workflow, product management, and marketing know-how focused on the healthcare payer, provider, and health information technology sectors. She is a recognized expert and thought leader in the emerging “value-based care” space and has broad experience in both health plan and provider businesses and workflows. She has deep expertise in healthcare reimbursement models and revenue cycle, extending into the clinical workflows necessary to maximize efficiencies in a changing healthcare ecosystem.
Ms. Kovalick has most recently held leadership roles with Availity, LLC, and GE Healthcare. She served as the Director, Healthcare Expense Analysis for John Hopkins Health Plan. She is a graduate of Bentley University where she earned her undergraduate degree in marketing.
