Manoj Selvaraj

Manoj Selvaraj is a Maryland-based engagement manager who combines strategic thinking with a passion for solving complex challenges — making healthcare and life sciences a natural fit.

He began his career putting his chemical engineering degree to use in the oil and gas sector in the Middle East. While pursuing his MBA at Johns Hopkins, healthcare found him, not the other way around. “All of the case studies we used were something related to healthcare — even if it was accounting, it would be about hospital or pharmaceutical accounting. I didn’t know I’d be getting so much exposure to the industry, but I’m glad I did because it led me here,” he says.

Manoj joined Sage in 2019 as an intern, rising quickly to engagement manager. He left in 2024 for a 10-month sabbatical working elsewhere, then returned to Sage in August 2025 with expanded perspectives and a renewed drive to lead impactful projects. Whether streamlining processes, analyzing complex datasets, or thriving in fast-paced, collaborative, and diverse work environments, he is driven by a passion for making things more efficient.
