There are few Sage clients that accounting supervisor and HR administrator Suzan Balcerak doesn’t keep eyes on. But that makes sense given her extensive background working for a vision care group as an accounts payable manager.

After that practice got bought out by a larger ownership group, Suzan wanted to transition back to working for a smaller company, and found her way to Sage. Here she says she likes being able to build something for clients, along with the rest of the team. That makes sense given her other experience working as a bookkeeper for a construction company; and later helping her husband, who’s a mason contractor, build a mini music space in the basement of their Maryland home. There, she and he display tickets from the concerts they’ve been to. Suzan prefers rock but recently started listening to country music to bond with her college-age son. They both love Morgan Wallen, and she’s also a huge fan of Luke Combs and Chris Stapleton.
