Sage experts come from just about every corner of the healthcare ecosystem, but Drew Whalen has been immersed in just about all of them throughout his career. The senior vice president of business development has worked in the industry since graduating from the University of Vermont with a degree in business administration. His experience spans a wide range of market segments including biopharma, medtech, healthcare IT, payer, and digital health. Drew has held multiple leadership roles at companies including Sanofi, Eliza Corporation, and Philips Healthcare, which led him to becoming a long-term Sage client before joining the team. Drew calls the seacoast region of New Hampshire home, where he lives with his wife and two kids. As an avid saltwater fly fisherman, weekends are often spent catching striped bass in the warmer months.
